I Interviewed with R1 and had an opportunity to speak to three different managers, and was one of the final candidates for the position as I was told. The interview process was straightforward and we discussed experiences and what I would bring to the company. After my fourth and last interview, I was told that they would make a decision in a couple of days. Well, that couple of days turned into a couple of weeks and no one in the company had the audacity to reach out to me to tell me that I was not selected for the position. I figured since I reached out and HR never responded to my emails/voicemail.
The lack of professionalism and communication is a big problem with this company. I have interviewed at a large consulting firm in the past and when I was not offered a position, the hiring manager personally called me to thank me for my time and told me the reason they chose to select another candidate. I received constructive feedback that helped me in my job search. I did not expect that kind of professionalism from R1 but at least some sort of communication would have sufficed. With R1, I really felt that there was mutual interest and I knew the product they were working with very well.
I would certainly not recommend this dismal company to anyone who is looking to seek employment as it turned out to be a complete waste of my time. I spent around three hours in four separate interviews to hear nothing back, especially when I reached out after two weeks of my final interview, pathetic!
