I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RCAC (Sacramento, CA) in Aug 2022
Interview
The interview was in two parts. The first was a simple excel assessment that asked if the candidate knew how to manipulate spreadsheets to complete an analysis of a grant proposal. That was followed by the interview.

Question 1
The assessment tested how well you could fill out a grant proposal using specific data they provided. The interview followed up on your answers.

Interview
About 3 weeks after my initial job submission through their application portal I was contacted via email to schedule a virtual group interview.
This interview was attended by their HR/hiring representative, a senior PM, and a project coordinator counterpart. Each individual had their own segment with questions to ask. The dialogue was smooth and conversational.
At the end of the meeting I’m informed that a decision would be made no more than a week out. Ultimately they ghosted with absolutely no effort to inform me of the final outcome, zero communication. Even a simple follow up email that I sent wasn’t dignified with a reply. Shame because their nature of work is rooted in efficacy & aiding marginalized communities, which was attractive!
Bottom line: waste of time and poor talent acquisition.

Interview
Went through a staffing company, so very quick. Interviewed with HR, direct boss, accountant, and CFO (all relevant to the department). About 15 structured interview questions; took about 1 hour.

Question 1
They tested my knowledge as relevant to how my resume matched up (transitional skills) with the job.
