This company has a very informal interview process. In my case, I used to work for the company in a different department. I simply called and asked if there were programming positions available. The manager answered yes, I came in, there was a very short salary negotiation, and it was done.
In another case, the manager was talking to a salesperson. After some small talk the salesperson mentioned that he had a degree in computer science. Shortly after that he was hired. It's as if the manager can judge talent automatically. The guy turned out to be brilliant.
