      Front Desk Receptionist Interview

      22 Jun 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral.Ā The process took 1 day.Ā I interviewed at RE/MAX

      Interview

Initial sit down interview was open, casual and accommodating. The interview was conducted by the two most senior managers. Interview was short and informal, approached in a way similar to a group of friends chatting. Few questions were made about actual work history and experience. Brief job background was provided, followed by an inquiry of my Microsoft Office experience - specifically my ability to create and present PowerPoints. The remaining time was then focused on more personal questions such as places I've travelled to, my hobbies, as well as my particular passions in life. In total, the process lasted about 20 - 30 minutes. Upon conclusion, I was told to await an email that same evening to finalize the process before beginning the following week. Final phase required taking an online comprehensive personality test (about 2 hours). Results provided a detailed breakdown of your personality, mindset, overall work ethic and leadership skills. Results consisted of 3 pages worth of detailed analysis which were then submitted through email to await confirmation.
