I applied online. I interviewed at REDX (Orem, UT) in Apr 2017
Interview
I navigated to REDX's careers page and filled out a survey. I wanted to put a little thought into it, so I probably spent about 2 hours on it. I heard back from REDX within a week and had an initial phone call and was given an assignment to create a small RESTful service that included an authentication layer. Then there was another phone interview where we reviewed my assignment and entertained questions on both sides. Finally, I came onsite to meet team members personally and was extended and was asked to propose a salary. A counter was offered and I accepted.
Throughout the entire process, I felt that those assisting me with the interview process were responsive and friendly.

I first interviewed with the team lead and one of the senior engineers on the team. We talked mostly about my experience and then some architectural questions to judge my skills in that area. After that interview I had a coding exercise I was required to complete and submit over the course of several days. Finally, I interviewed with the CEO which was mostly a personality interview.
