      Corporate Finance - M&A Interview

      22 Feb 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Gatwick, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at RSM (Gatwick, England) in Feb 2017

      Interview

The assessment centre was tough for this service line. The group exercise followed by the interview tested both your attitude towards other people and your technical capabilities. In particular your knowledge of the role. If you passed this section you were moved on to the case study. This was a difficult case study for time. You were also required to show how you handled a lack of data. I think what was important here was to tell the interviewer after about what you could do rather than what you did do.

      Question 1

What size of deals exists in the mid-market? How would you value a company?
