Both leadership executives were incredibly friendly, but all over the place during the interview. They did a majority of the talking/ranting during the interview. It was clear during our time together that they weren’t sure what they were looking for, which was red flag.
They had also made mention of other previous candidates and why the position hadn’t been filled yet, which to me, seemed nonsensical to bring up.
Their energy and eagerness was great, but I could tell that this wasn’t an environment for candidates that enjoy structure and being provided the opportunity to effectively drive new initiatives. Due to the changes occurring at this organization, it sounds like there is a lot of uncertainty and constant changes. Some people thrive in this environment and others don’t. Just make sure you know what you’re looking for in a role before you accept an interview with this company.
Also, at the time I interview there was no benefits package in place, which is another red flag- know what you deserve because that is an essential part of total compensation.
