      Account Manager Interview

      16 Oct 2018
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ragged Edge (London, England) in Aug 2018

      Interview

After applying online, a member of the team emailed me directly inviting me to come in that week for an initial chat. I went in after work and met 2 members of the team who were really friendly and welcoming, asking me about myself and why I was interested in the role. A couple of days later, I was invited back to meet 2 more members of the team. They were just as friendly and encouraging, asking me challenging questions that I felt comfortable answering. Later that evening, they gave me a call thanking me for my time and asking me if I'd like to come in again to meet the agency founders. I asked if there was anything they'd like me to prepare and they said that if I had enough time and felt comfortable doing so, I could prepare a short presentation on an aspect of branding that I was interested in. I presented to Max before work one morning and then we had a chat about the role and he asked me a few more questions. I then mentioned I was going away on holiday the following week, so they kindly suggested that we pause things for a week and touch base when I was back in London. Sure enough, the Monday I was back in the office, a member of the team emailed me in the afternoon welcoming me back and asking if I was available for either a phone call or a meeting that week. I went in after work later that week to meet Matt and he offered me the job in person. The process itself felt very positive. Every member of the team was very friendly and accommodating in terms of timing and they gave me plenty of opportunities to ask my own questions. The questions I was asked were challenging, but in a good way: when I was offered the job it made me feel confident that they knew me well and that I was a good fit for the role.
