Interview
My interviews with Rakuten Interactive executives was surprisingly non stressful actually. When interviewing it can be stressful, but what was nice is how friendly and open and honest they were about the job role and culture of the company and the expectations they described with me. I was fortunate to sync up with the president, CFO, Head of HR and Facilities as it helped solidified you perspectives and questions and obviously your decision once I was selected as there candidate.

Question 1
Lots of good questions in terms of my past experience within the Real Estate and Facilities day to day operations and how I would sync up with Rakuten. Some of the key questions was about my past history on how I got to the level where I'm now and to be successfully determined to help Rakuten be stronger.

Interview
Scary interview. I was really turned off. Over use of such terms as "pivot" and "disrupt." They are a start up but that's no excuse for poor organization and decision making. People seemed to make stuff up as they go along. Their staffing doesn't seem to make sense.
