You never really get to talk to your likely peers: the owner conducts most of the interviews unless it's for a union job. The CAD test was to take an existing part and redraw it in AutoCAD on a timer. However, this was pale in comparison to the one on one with the owner. It was obvious he wasn't too serious about who he hired: he just wants a 'yes'-man.
