Building was somewhat difficult to locate, thankfully I arrived early. The interview itself was very informal. The lady interviewing me offered me something to drink, but I politely declined. I felt the conversation went well at first. The interview questions were mostly about my previous work. There were also several "scenario questions", those that starting with "Describe a time when..." By the end of the interview it was clear she had no intention of actually considering me as a contender for the position even prior to the interview. She told me she was looking for someone with "a bit more experience" to help develop the department and get it off the ground. It was very annoying, to say the least, that she asked me to come in for an interview knowing she wasn't going to hire me. If it was truly my experience that held me back, she could have given my resume a once-over prior to extending the offer to interview. I believe she just didn't take me seriously because I look young. It was also clear that the position they were actually hiring was completely different from the posted job description. This was easily the worst interview of my life, as I left feeling it had been a complete waste of my time.
