I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Raycon
Interview
Applied and heard back not too long after. Person said they were interested and wanted to discuss. I responded asking for their availability and received an email saying that before we spoke, they wanted me to take a test. I was forwarded a bunch of spreadsheets and asked to find certain pieces of information. The question was ambiguous, so I provided what I felt was a thorough answer that included answers to other potential versions of the question they could've been asking, along with explanations of each. Was told they wanted to see the work, it needed to be in a certain format, put in a specific place, etc. , a lot of hoops to jump through even though the answers were provided, and internet traffic controls on their end made things difficult. After, was asked to hop on a call to discuss but it wasn't really a discussion - it was me explaining without any feedback. I was also given a very specific explanation of how they liked work to be handled, which only seemed to specifically pertain to a fraction of the responsibilities listed on the job description. While I appreciated the input given about that specific explanation, it wasn't really a great overall experience.

Question 1
Please explain your daily routine (a variation of this)
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Raycon in Apr 2024
Interview
The process went very well, laid back. There was a very time consuming test and supposedly I aced it. They told me I was the top candidate but never got back to me. When I reached out to them a couple weeks after the last interview where I met with the CEO, they just ghosted me. I don't understand how hard is it for HR to give some response and make up any number of lies out there. When there is no response how am I supposed to know what to do? Of course I moved on after a couple of days of no response, but it's supposed to be a professional environment when working in these positions.
This is another reason why developers should NEVER waste time on taking tests!!! Complete waste of time.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Raycon (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
I had two interviews with Raycon and didn't get a third. The interviewers were casual and the first interviewer asked some intriguing questions. The third interview was with one of the stakeholders that I did not get. I enjoyed the interviews.
