I contacted a recruiter at the company directly for a job I was a specific match. They called from a D.C. office for a quick chat. The position was one of the few that did not require a security clearance. Although I have a 20+ year career as a professional software developer, working in the latest tech stacks, they seemed to be mostly interested in those just coming out of college. No technical questions, just a general overview of the job and asked about my experience and academic background which was STEM but degree was not CS.
