Interview
It was a decent process, there were 3 rounds, level of questions were basic. The hiring manager round was the toughest. The HR kept communicating through out the process. I was honestly surprised why I did not get the offer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Razorpay (Bengaluru) in Jul 2025
Interview
The process was well-structured and professional. It included:
Initial Screening:
A recruiter reached out and gave a clear overview of the role, expectations, and timeline.
It was a friendly and informative conversation.
Technical Round:
The interviewer asked practical frontend problems — mostly related to JavaScript, browser rendering (reflow/repaint), performance, and real-world DOM behavior.
The discussion was interactive and went beyond syntax to see how you think and reason about performance trade-offs.
I appreciated the deep-dive into concepts like React’s virtual DOM vs. real DOM.
System/Architecture Design Round:
Involved discussing state management and component-level design in frontend apps.
The feedback was constructive and helped me reflect on areas to improve further — especially around organizing technical thoughts clearly.
Feedback:
Although I didn’t make it to the final stage, I received thoughtful feedback that focused on fundamentals and performance principles, which I found genuinely helpful.
not tough, LLD and hld were asked in two differennt rounds. They were easy but needed detailed discussion with the panel. You can see past experiences and prepare on that basis
