PHP Full Stack Developer/Technical SME Interview

      8 Jun 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ReadyWorks in Apr 2022

      Interview

The overall interview process went well. The first step was a recorded Zoom call with the of technical PHP questions. After that, I was requested to complete a code challenge that consisted of making an analytics dashboard that was based on Bootstrap, Charts.js, and Data tables. They provided a database and laid out the basic requirements. The second interview was a code review with a CTO. This went very well and I received nothing but positive feedback from the CTO. He even said "I usually have more questions for when they do something wrong." He explained that he felt I showed a lot of initiative with my work on the code challenge. I was told by the CTO that I would get feedback and info on next steps within a day or so. I waited 2 days and checked in. My call was ignored and, but I was texted back saying they'd have more info mid week. I checked in once more a week later but I never heard back.
