I recently went through the interview process for the position of Senior Technical Support Engineer. I interviewed with the Director, David Ries, Senior Technical Support Engineer, Marat Popov, and Customer Success Engineer, Sayed Din.
I had a great experience with David and Marat. They both were courteous and professional. However, I had a terrible experience with Sayed. He would ask a question, and wouldn't even let me answer it, instead he would answer the question himself and conclude I don't know the material. Also, he asked for my video to be on, while he kept his off the entire time. He was rude and disrespectful. From the start of the conversation, he was dismissive for no reason at all.
Redseal is a prestigious and well respected company. They should not have someone like Sayed representing them by interviewing candidates, because well qualified candidates would be unfairly dismissed through his lack of professionalism and ill-mannered attitude.
I hope human resources takes this seriously and acts upon it.
