I met with the branch manager, asst manager and warehouse manager for personal discussion about the job description and what my prior warehouse was like. I described the company culture and its history.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Redneck Trailer Supplies (Springfield, MO)

The slowest process I have ever experienced. It took 4 months from the first interview to the final interview and I was their primary candidate. First a phone screen from HR, then an on sight interview and from there a trip to Springfield to interview with 6 corp exec.

Very traditional interview not difficult at all. What are your strengths, what are your weaknesses, etc. If in management you will go to Springfield Mo and have 6 different interviews.

On the first of my two interviews I spoke with the then warehouse forman, who explained the application and hiring process to me, as well as providing some ground knowledge about the general functions of the warehouse and how the workdays could vary in length and pressure. At this point I was also given a tour of the w/house floor and was crash course trained for the position I was going to be assigned to
