Refinery29 Associate Editor interview questions

I got in touch with my interviewer through a connection at the company. I was very excited for the interview and prepared meticulously. The interview itself lasted about 10 minutes, and I was only asked one question. I was then told to submit an extensive edit test by the end of the week, which i did. I never heard anything back from the editor that I met. It felt as though she had dismissed me before she met me. If that's the case I am not sure why she asked me to submit the edit test, which I worked very hard on. I regret the wasted effort. I followed up after a week and still received no response, not even a confirmation that my materials were received. It's very disrespectful to ignore candidates in this manner.
