I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Registrar in Feb 2024
Interview
This was quite a nightmare, and I felt so strung along for TWO MONTHS. I received an email from the recruiter at first for an introductory call, which was very normal and easy. After that I had an hour call with the hiring manager, which I really enjoyed. It wasn't until the end of the call that she mentioned I'd be doing THREE more rounds. My eyes almost sprung out of my head when she mentioned a case study assignment would be next, in addition to that, a call with a team member, and then a call with the CEO...this was an entry-level/associate role, mind you. I completed the case study assignment, which the instruction was poorly written for. PLEASE provide enough instruction if you're asking for candidates to complete an assignment WITHOUT PAY. From there, I had a call with a peer/team member, which was very normal and fine. After this call however, is when I'd hear NOTHING for weeks. I was shocked because I did very well in these interviews and really clicked with everyone I met, and was told my assignment was very impressive. I would email the recruiter for answers, and would get back a generic response that "the team ran into delays" and that I would hear back the next week. Except, I would get that every other week...and would hear nothing concrete, only that there were "delays". It really was a disrespectful process and a complete waste of my time. Eventually, I gave up on trying to get an update and that's when I was emailed with a REAL update...they paused hiring on the job because the hiring manager left the company and they hired a contractor INSTEAD to fill the role/supplement the responsibilities. They also mentioned they'd reach back out towards the end of the year but I really have no interest nor do I expect anything from this company/team, they are very clearly incompetent. So that's how my last 2 months were wasted, thanks for reading!
