Interview
Had a phone screen with the hiring manager. Quickly reviewed resume, job description, and motivations. Then moved onto derivation of equations.
On site consisted of making a presentation about your background and some key projects. Interview team consisted of the hiring manager and several engineers (of all experience levels). After the presentation, there was a tour, followed by 3x 1:1 sessions.

Question 1
Questions were largely about the skill set of the interviewer and had minimal relation to job requisition.
Questions topics included: beam bending with shear/moment diagrams, stress regimes in combustion chamber cooling channels, bi-metallic structures under thermal load, and system blowdown characteristics

Relatively long interview process stretched over several weeks. All said there were 3 phone screens before the final round. Final round consists of a multi-hour block where candidates provide a presentation and then continue to many back to back 1:1 interviews.
