I got a call from a staffing agency to discuss the position and they submitted on my behalf. Surprisingly there was no phone screen, but I did have to complete a short assignment before being scheduled for an interview. The interview itself was about three hours long. I met with three different people individually, and also was asked to give a 30 minute presentation to all three together on email campaigns I've worked on. Everyone was extremely friendly and professional which made things feel more casual and less intense than they otherwise might have in such a lengthy interview. They were also extremely passionate about Remitly's vision and that enthusiasm was highly contagious. It made me excited for the opportunity to work there, although I heard back a few days later and did not get an offer.
