For some reason, this company thinks it is okay to waste people's time. They contacted me for an interview and I scheduled one for a few days later. An hour before the interview they rescheduled it for an hour later. When the time for the interview came, nobody bothered to join the meeting and I waited for more than 20 minutes in Google Meet. After that, I received an automated email informing me that I was not selected based on my resume, even though I previously had received an email asking me to schedule an interview and the appointment was confirmed. Extremely unprofessional and rude, a major red flag for the company culture they have in my opinion. I believe every person has the right to basic respect and even if they do not think someone is a good fit, they should not schedule an interview that they have no intention of attending. Basic human decency would also be to at least apologize and acknowledge the mistake on their end if there was one. However, they did not and I am very disappointed as I really believe in what the company is trying to accomplish.
