Amara, the head recruiter did a phenomenal job throughout the entire interview process. She prefaced the call with a deep understanding of the newly developed role and the company culture.
The onsite consisted of the typical rounds 1:1 with folks from all levels of the company.
I was taken off site for lunch during the lunch hours of the interview which was a nice touch.
I must note that Joris the CEO did call me personally to speak on the role and was very personable. He was ensuring that Rescale would provide me a roadmap development for my career as well as his. This is definitely not something you encounter in most orgs.
It was a difficult decision not to move forward as timing just wasn't right.
