I applied online. I interviewed at Revolution Prep in Dec 2025
Interview
It was very easy. I had to teach two questions, one math and one ELA. Both were SAT practice questions. I was then asked three very simple follow up questions about hypothetical tutoring scenarios.

I applied online. I interviewed at Revolution Prep (Santa Monica, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
Interviewed by the Faculty Director in early, very relaxed environment during interview, questions were mainly directed towards my future plans and teaching background. Interview lasted about twenty to thirty minutes
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revolution Prep (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
Interview was in three parts:
First interview, you take an ascynchronous quiz that assesses if you're capable of answering reading, writing and math questions on the SAT.
Second interview, you're asked to demonstrate that you can teach two questions to an interviewer utilizing some free software, as well as some questions regarding teaching methodology.
Third interview, you're asked about previous experience, favorite job, least favorite job and why etc.
Unfortunately they wasted my time going through all three interviews, and the posted pay is disingenuous as although you're told it's $25/hr, you're actually only paid minimum wage for the times you're not directly working with students. I asked for feedback on why I wasn't considered for the position and ended up getting an indirect, blanketed response. Don't waste your time applying here.

Question 1
(Second interview question) You've been working with a student for about a month and when the student takes another diagnostic test, there is no improvement to the students score. The parents confront you about this; how do you respond?
