I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rexall (Victoria, BC) in Sept 2015
Interview
the interview was pretty easy. It was easy going with a lot of open ended questions. really they just want to see if you are personable and if you can handle basic customer service situations. Lots of questions about past customer service experience. It was not very organized - I had to go in 3 times before they remembered who I was. They seem streamlined in method but just not caring at all.
very structured, they have a set list of "typical" interview questions. Most were behavioural questions like tell me about a time and you answer using the STAR method. But the interview itself was casual, just the questions were structured
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rexall
Interview
I applied to the position through Indeed and heard back relatively quickly. The employer maintained great communication. I had a phone call screen prior to an in-person interview on site. The interview wasn't too long with general questions.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Rexall
Interview
It was a straight forward process. I was invited to a chat by the manager of one of their branches, and it was a smooth and relaxing chat. Nothing extraordinary. A great emphasis was placed on Canadian experience though.
