The process is divided into 3 parts:- 1) JS round 2) Problem solving and web 3) Web deep dive The interviewers are themselves confused as to what they expect from a candidate. Also, if you are an interviewer you have to either maintain a poker face as to justify, that you aren't biased towards the told approach or you can either show agreement or disagreement towards the told approach. The interviewers here at rippling, i found them totally opposite like they would be all in agreement with the approach and stuff and then go for rejection. If you are looking for a various skill or experience in a skill set, then make it clear during the starting of the round as to what parameters you would be judging the candidate.Asking irrelevant questions and then rejecting doesn't seem good. The hiring process is very vague and broken.
