It was an easy, calm friendly and casual experience. Mostly looking at the reel, going over each shot and talking about past experiences/companies. I had nothing too technical or challenging.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Rising Sun Pictures in Feb 2025
Interview
The process was over 2 months since initially applying - had my interview 3-4 weeks after applying. I had to follow up a couple of times for my interview date and time within that time frame. Interview was welcoming and had a friendly atmosphere.
4 weeks later after my first interview, I was told I wasn't successful with getting the job. This was after I had to follow up about the interview a few times after not hearing any feedback in regards to the interview. I didn't feel supported by recruitment or the hiring managers.
I applied online. I interviewed at Rising Sun Pictures (Adelaide) in Oct 2022
Interview
Round one: Recruiter got in touch, gave a brief about the position, verified my details and asked for my requirements for accepting the position. Round two: Call with Head of CG and Lighting Sup. They made me comfortable, discussed the position, requirements in detail. Overall it was a good experience.
