Applied online and got an email for an HR interview. The HR people are super nice. After a phone interview was invited for an on site interview. They didn’t ask at all about my research really, which was unlike other interviews I’d done.

Interview
first by email were I introduced my self and my research. After that I had a phone call with the PI where we talked on my research and her research and what type of projects I can work on with I join the lab. And after that I flew to NY for a personal interview where I gave a presentation of my work and we talked more on projects in the lab.

the usual scientist interview. Applied online to the professor. Exchanged a couple of e-mails and was invited to give a talk. A hour long talk followed by Q&A. Met the other members of the lab.
