WOW! Romac is a true standout in the industry. I am amazed by their innovations in ruining a business. Pavel, the recruiter is a true narcist and one of the truly sour and miserable HR partners that makes corporate culture so wonderful.
I must be honest, I was not offered an interview. I had to call Romac 5 times to get ahold of anyone, after they politely denied my application 11 hours and 59 minutes later. (I applied at 8:30 PM) Every time I called, I was on hold for 3+ minutes. A good sign that my attempts to be hired would be successful. Boy, was I in for a treat. On the 5th encounter, I was able to get ahold of Pavel. Pavel, such an interesting fellow, talked down to me the entire conversation, and belittled me. He is truly good with his words, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, I did catch that they will not hire anyone with experience so they can train them the Romac way, They will also not hire anyone without plumbing experience, because they will have to train them! So much for my 10 years of customer service experience for the customer service role, and learning the product catalog like every other similar role. Alas, if the company does not want to hire, I cannot force them. On top of that, Pavel was sure to let me know I needed to thank him for answering the phone, as apparently his time is so valuable, he cannot talk to applicants.
Only 3 interview reviews at writing tells me they do not interview, and I am not alone.
