Senior Graphic Designer Interview Experience Pros: Straightforward interview questions focused on past experiences and relevant skills Opportunity to tour the studio and get a sense of the work environment Cons: Unorganized warehouse section unrelated to the position Emphasis on high commercial production volume raises concerns about workload distribution A lackluster benefits package with limited PTO and no mention of amenities No clear response after the interview Review: I recently interviewed for a Senior Graphic Designer position with Ron Jumper from Ron Sherman Advertising. The interview process was smooth, and the questions were straightforward, focusing on my past experiences and skills, such as 3D work. However, there were several aspects of the experience that raised concerns. The tour of the studio included an unorganized warehouse section that seemed unrelated to the job I applied for. Additionally, Ron bragged about the company producing the most commercials in a month, which made me worry about the workload ratio to employees. The benefits package was not enticing; the company only covers half, and PTO is rewarded after six months, which is more than some jobs that pay less. There was no mention of any amenities. I didn't receive a clear yes or no after the interview, which wasn't surprising, considering the company's low ratings. While the interview process was decent, the work environment, workload expectations, and benefits package left much to be desired.
