The interview process was very informative and conversational. It gave me insight into the company culture and the work expectations. The interviewers were very enthusiastic about their work and took time to explain their daily schedules.
Initial phone call followed by conversations with people from various departments, mostly technical / operational. Questions asked are mostly around previous experience, work style, how you work in a group / cross-functionally. Overall a very positive experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe your current role, how you think you would fit within the company culture, how do you think you would do in a fast paced environment
I applied online. I interviewed at RoosterBio (Gaithersburg, MD)
Interview
Interview was mostly behavioral/based on previous experience. They brought out about half the company, which was nice. I feel like they were really focused on finding a good fit. Some of the questions were a little strange. For example, I previously worked in a lab, and was asked if I was used to doing repetitive lab-work. What made this experience so negative was that I never heard back after the process. I happened to be visiting at the time since I was moving to the area soon, and took time out of my visit to interview with the company for 3+ hours and never got a response. I found this to be incredibly rude, and the single rudest experience I've ever had during an interview process. If their hiring process is so bad that they can't even send out polite rejection emails, I wonder how terrible it must actually be to work there.
