Interview
First interview was a general get to know you interview followed by several rounds of interviews with groups of people including managers of other departments, colleagues and potential direct reports. Ropes seems very concerned with making sure that candidates at this level will be a good fit for their teams.

They were concerned with longevity as several prior managers had left fairly quickly after joining and many questions were geared towards whether I was planning on staying at this position for an extended period of time.
