SG Telecom interview questions

I received a call from the HR When I was hunting for a Job. I was asked to come for the interviews Next Day of call. No-one was available to take interview so had to wait for long. Finally some Manager came and ask few questions. I was surprised that the person who took my interview has no knowledge how to speak and I'm Not talking about only English(which was pathetic) But he didn't ask me anything about my skills or at one thing I'm good at. Not even a small introduction. I was hired for answering very Simple questions and I accepted the offer because of my interest in meeting new people or meeting CEOs of big organisation(if get a chance).
