      Interview

The interview process was long and drawn out, involving multiple steps and deliverables. It began with a few recorded Loom, followed by a take home assignment that required several hours of work. After that came at least three rounds of interviews with different team members, each one suggesting that things were moving in a positive direction. Eventually, they presented a job offer, but it turned out the position did not actually exist. They said it was “coming soon” or “still being finalized,” and then communication completely stopped. Weeks turned into months without a single update or reply. The whole experience left the impression of poor communication and false promises. Candidates were asked to invest time, energy, and effort for a job that was never real in the first place.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry that the process felt frustrating and left you with a negative impression, that’s certainly not the experience we aim to provide. We’d like to clarify that we never intentionally recruit for roles that are not real or make false promises. In some cases, we begin recruiting in parallel with a client’s internal approval process. Unfortunately, clients may pause, delay, or cancel roles due to changing business priorities, which is ultimately outside of our control. We also want to address communication and feedback. We always aim to provide feedback as transparently and thoughtfully as possible. However, when there is no change on the client side, there is sometimes no new information to share beyond what has already been communicated. That said, we recognise that silence can feel discouraging, and we take this feedback seriously and will review our process. We are continuously working on improving how we set expectations and communicate during longer or uncertain hiring processes, to ensure candidates feel respected and informed throughout.
