      Freelance Writer Interview

      4 May 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Torrance, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at STN Media Group (Torrance, CA)

      Interview

The process is rather simple, usually there are 2-3 interviews where you meet with the Chief Content Officer and also the Publisher. The questions are not just related to whether or not you can write. The company is more interested in whether or not you are willing to think outside of the box, be a team player, and be helpful. Writing is only one aspect to being an employee here. It takes someone who enjoys writing on any topic and enjoys collaborating with a team of people.
