      Recreation Aide Interview

      17 Jun 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sacramento START

      Interview

Really easy interview. Basic questions: Why should we hire you? What is your experience working with children? And also many scenario questions: What would you do if you were with your class of 20 children, and a parent comes in visibly upset, disrupts your class, and starts yelling at you for something they were not happy with? What would you do if you had a couple students who didn't want to participate in an activity? How would you handle it?

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

At the end of the interview you are asked to make up an activity for the kids. You get 20 minutes. You have to be creative, and show them you are flexible, and can think fast on your feet.
