I got offered an interview at Safeguard Medical. When I first applied I should have come to Glassdoor sooner. As one review already said "But the attitude here is better the wrong bums on seats rather than no bums at all. Instead of waiting it out for the right candidate."
I accepted an interview and asked for a specific time out of two given. I was then told someone else had that slot and got offered two other times. Upon agreeing to the interview time I made arrangements with my current employer to take time off work to attend. The following afternoon I get informed the role is taken. Just shows they take the first person that'll fill the role rather than interview everyone to find the best candidate since they didn't even want to still do the interview with myself or the other person the same day as me.
I hope the CEO reads these reviews (as many do to stay up to date if they care about the business) - they will see HR are just filling seats and not looking for what is best for the company. Fortunately I was using this interview as experience as the reviews on here put me off accepting the role if I got offered it.
