This was the most unprofessional interview process and company I have ever spoken with.
My first interview was a 30 minute interview HR style with Andy, he was the only bright spot in the company. He took the time to answer all my questions, understood my time constraints and moved me on to the next round right away.
Next was a panel interview (technical) with the team in India, this went very well, and again i was moved on to the next round.
The final day I met with the SVP of data engineering for 30 minutes, we had a really good conversation and his right hand Mahesh who I was told is the manager of another data department reporting to the same SVP but not one that I would be reporting to. This is where it went off the rails.
To start with the guy was 15 minutes late to the interview, only after i emailed HR several times did he join. he stayed on the call for 8 minutes and kept getting teams calls from "his boss" ultimately telling me he had to reschedule. I did tell him as i told HR that is fine but it would need to be quick as I had other interviews and some offers i was holding off for what seemed like a good opportunity. He told me he had time the next day and HR would be in touch to set it up. From there I was ghosted for 4 days until finally getting a form letter from their HR system that they "wouldnt be proceeding with my application" 0 heart, 0 decency and 0 reply to my 4 emails to follow up in the days after. All I can say is stay away if this is how they treat you on the way in, God knows what happens when you get there. By the reviews it seems like more of the same.
