I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Salsify in May 2018
Interview
I was really bummed to not get an offer here- they seem like an awesome place to work, great product, hard working and fun culture, etc. I was reached out to by a recruiter to apply for a role, they moved quickly and had me in the office to meet the team within the week. They gave feedback after the first in person interview and invited me back to do the role play presentation. It was an informal and comfortable presentation, and all of the sales managers were very open and honest with feedback. At the end of the role play, I left feeling pretty confident and excited about the company, but unfortunately I got a call a few days later that didn't make the cut. It's never fun being declined, but they did so respectfully. They took the time to talk to me after the process and let me know where I stood, and even offered that I join at a lower more entry level role. I have a lot of respect for this team and company, and hope to see them do great things.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Salsify
Interview
The interview process was clunky and full of surprises. In the final interview, I was asked leading and bias questions, which made me feel uncomfortable. Hence the reason I declined the offer.
