Operations director reached out to me on LinkedIn.
Told me to apply on their website and then scheduled a google-hangout interview for 30 minutes.
The director was completely uninterested in interviewing me.
Echoing the "Manager Role Interview" review, it was pretty unprofessional and clearly a waste of everyone's time.
I was really excited about the role, but I was shocked by how pretentious the interviewer was. Like dayum!
I spent a lot of time doing research about the company and the founder. I though it was cool how they were gender-balanced. Unfortunately, like many Toronto StartUps, their idea of diversity is hiring exclusively white men & women and women of color.
I guess brown and black man aren't a good "cultural fit."
I'm glad I know about the company because I think it's a great platform/service and just generally a cool idea. Just regret interviewing there.
