The process is very unprofessional. I dealt with 3 different recruiters so it was pretty confusing when receiving conflicting info. Talked to the recruiter and expressed my concerns about the role but she pushed for an in person interview. Went to the first round and the hiring manager was professional. Got called for a second interview, which they expected me to drop everything for and come in the next day, which is hard when working full time. I pushed it to the week after. Another recruiter then emailed for my references, I emailed back saying I’m still going to a second interview the following week so there’s no need to contact reference before the second round. My email was forwarded to theee other recruiters until finally they said they won’t have me continue with the process without references. I gave them the references and went in for a second interview. Ended up receiving a generic email of we went in a different direction. Advice: professionally, if candidates show up for 2 interviews, the least you can do is call them with the news or send a regular not a system generated email. Recruiters - you didn’t have an issue calling me every day with more questions and requests during the process. I expect more professionalism.
