San Diego Rescue Mission interview questions

There will be three interviews for this position. It's inconceivable that they go this far for a position that is only $17+ /hour. They didn't move me forward after the first interview. The first question was asking my background, and the second one was immediately implying that I'm overqualified. After a few more questions, the interviewer implied again that I'm overqualified. They spent 30 minutes to understand my background, but there was roughly 30% of the time that I had to answer over-qualified questions. The first interview felt like a final interview for other companies.

Straightforward interview with two people. Very attentive to what I was saying and asked many follow up questions about my experiences and how they would correlate with the position.
