I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at SandboxAQ
Interview
(1) talent head meeting
(2) a few cross functional, tech, and behavioral interviews
The scheduling was quick, but it was weird to me that they did not provide the timeline and how many interviews they have.
I thought everything was done but then got another tech interview a few days later.
Some interviewers are unprepared, so it might be hard to push back what they said.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SandboxAQ in Jul 2025
Interview
My interview experience for the Product Resident role at SandboxAQ was excellent and highly professional. The entire process, which included two rigorous rounds, reflected a commitment to quality and transparency. The recruiter, was exceptionally kind and empathetic, ensuring clarity regarding the process and timeline throughout. The hiring manager, was one of the sharpest minds I've interviewed with; he was thoroughly prepared and highly analytical, allowing us to immediately engage in deep, strategic conversations that made me confident I was properly assessed. While the opportunity was paused due to shifting internal priorities, I greatly appreciated the full, transparent explanation I received for the decision. The high quality of the talent and the respect shown for the candidate's time makes this company highly commendable.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most significant question involved a deep dive into my past experiences, specifically focusing on what was not already detailed on my resume.
This line of questioning challenged my adaptability and logical problem-solving process.
It started off with a recruiter video call to go over your background and the role. I would say it was pretty standard.
Next is an interview with the hiring manager. The vibe was off. I heard enough “my besties are in HR” and “I have B-F-Fs in the company so the culture is great!” to know it would not be a fit. It felt very sorority/ fraternity-ish and it really isn’t a culture or vibe I would want nor probably respect on a professional level.
I did not want to proceed. I did not want a seat at that table.
