Boss himself more like experience oriented, so a smart person would be a most fit. Python questions and VBA are recommended. Building tools if you can make most of the processes smooth.

Interview
I cold emailed the firm. CV and Cover letter was picked up by the Partner.
Was invited to a face to face interview with the the Partner. Mostly questions regarding fit and motivation.
Invited to a second and final round of interviews with the same partner. Again, mostly fit and was offered a job.
