Question 1
Background, experince, intersts, a few technical questions
It was a telephonic Interview. The interviewer was very calm and asked majorly about my background and tested my knowledge of finance, valuation, and general knowledge about startups. Then he asked about why I wanted to intern in an Investment Banking Consultancy firm.
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Scaale Capital (Mumbai) in Mar 2012
Interview
The length of the interview was around 2.5-3 hours. A written test followed by a one on one conversation with the country head. The office has a very pleasant staff already. I was given ample of time to go through the problems and write my answers. In the personal interview, general questions on my past experience were asked. The interviewer is a very humble and a smart person. He told me about the job profile in a very broad manner and asked about my opinion on it. He gave me enough space to justify my answers in a detailed manner. Overall it was a great learning experience conversing with him.
