JD mismatch and Interviewer missed clarity
HR call just asked for date for first level.
Lead engg of 7+ years took interview, not hiring mgr screen
All went well, but no updates further
1.5 hour of interview but scheduled only for 1 hour
Hidden cues- they want snowflake data engineer with applied ai experience but JD didnt reflect that. They seems to go silent if you aren't a snowflake expert. Interviewer didn't seem to understand that AI pipelines can be implemented without snowflake too.
The interviewer was polite but didn't turn on video, based on the silence, the interviewer seems to have negatively stated on the interview due to his perceptions or something.
A hiring manager screem would have helped in getting better idea about role skill fit mutually
