Interview
I got contacted by the Hiring Manger a day after applying on the website, got set up for a Skype interview a few days later. It was a very casual interview where the Hiring Manager was laying on a couch wearing a teeshirt. She asked me the typical interview questions. She also asked me a couple of illegal questions for CA such as how much I was making at my current position and even asked how I got my green card. We went over the salary and it was pretty low for the position. I also noticed that the salary matched the Sales Development Representative offer for Sciforma that they also had posted. So the casual interview went well and she set me up right away with another skype interview with the COO for a couple days letter. The interview with the COO was a lot more professional. The COO confirmed that I would start as a SDR and eventually move up to a Sales Accout Executive. From that point on, I was totally checked out. I thought it was so unprofessional to make me interview for a lower position that I didn’t even apply for and not even letting me know until I ask to confirm during the second skype interview.
