I applied online. I interviewed at Scout Clean Energy (Boulder, CO) in Nov 2025
Interview
Very friendly, very conversational. Did 3 rounds, with HR, Managers, and VP. All three rounds were open for experience questions and company questions. Not many technical questions if any at all.
I went through an extensive seven-week interview process that included three interviews and a written exam. While the early stages were well-organized and the team seemed engaged, communication completely dropped off after the final round. Despite multiple follow-ups, I never received a response or closure.
The interviews themselves were thoughtful and focused on analytical skills, market understanding, and problem-solving. However, the lack of follow-up after such a long and detailed process was disappointing and unprofessional, especially given the time and effort involved.
Overall, the experience started positively but ended poorly due to the abrupt communication breakdown. Candidates should be prepared for a lengthy process and uncertain follow up.
