      Field Director Interview

      20 Sept 2011
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Scouting America in Nov 2010

      Interview

I was explained the position and the expectations, then offered a 15% increase over my current salary. I would be managing a group of 5 professional scouters in the areas of membership, fundraising and volunteer recruitment, basically what I was doing before. Since I was available for a transfer, I chose 4-5 cities where I wanted to move and waited for an offer, which came a few weeks later. I interviewed with the scout executive, director of field service and one of the board members.
