      Producer Interview

      29 May 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Secret Location (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2018

      Interview

I had 3 meetings. The first was a 30 min. quick scan of my experience and areas of interest. The second was with Upper management, and the third one was with 2 people directing the team I would be working with. The latter was where the process seemed to fall off the rails. The woman interviewing me had apparently not read my résumé and was looking at her computer the most of the time, probably trying to catch up with reading my résumé. Her attitude was brisk and off-putting, like she had made up her mind about me in the first couple of minutes. The other man in the room was friendly, but apparently she had the upper hand. I wish they hadn't led me on for such a long time if I wasn't the right fit.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Among the questions about my experience, they asked what experience I had with the specific type of product they had for that account/line.
